Relaxing at the firepit

Cozy Weekend Escape…

Our weekend stay at the Nehalem River Inn was wonderful. We loved the gardens and sitting by the river at the fire pit. The bed was amazing! We’ve stayed all over Manzanita and Cannon Beach for years. It's one of the best hotels that’s close to Manzanita.

Great Spot Near Manzanita…

Great home base for our family to explore all of the state parks and beaches near Nehalem and Manzanita. Gorgeous views overlooking the Nehalem River. Loved evenings at the warm and cozy firepit. We stayed in a lovely room with a private balcony facing the river (amazing morning coffee spot). We were able to meet the owners on-site and see most of the others rooms as well. Each room was so cute with cozy bedding and exceptionally clean. We will for sure return to stay in other rooms (hopefully soon).

Loved Hanging Out at the Firepit…

We stayed two nights at the inn during a November road trip from Seattle to San Francisco. We were so pleased with this immaculately clean little hotel! There was firewood available for the firepit next to the Nehalem River so we sat in the comfy chairs in the evenings, listening to the river and looking at the stars. It was such a relaxing spot after a day of driving. Super thankful for the clean and comfortable beds and an amazing shower.

Views of the Mountains & Nehalem River…

I can't say enough good things about this cute little hotel. I came for two nights to celebrate my friend's birthday. This was a new spot for us and we had such an amazing weekend. The location is perfect with amazing views of the mountains and river and just a short distance to lots of coffee shops, boutique stores and restaurants in Wheeler, Nehalem and Manzanita. Heather was wonderful. We can't wait to come back.

Darling Little Hotel…

My husband and I stayed at the inn for our 20th wedding anniversary. Over the years we’ve often camped at Nehalem Bay State Park and Nehalem Falls but were pleased to find this darling little hotel so close to Nehalem and the parks. Our room was just so cute and comfortable in every way. We sat on our private deck in the mornings and at the end of the day (the views were amazing and the weather was lovely), walked around Manzanita and Wheeler, and had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Neahkahnie Bistro.

Hidden Gem

Luckily, friends of ours who live in Nehalem told us about this special little hotel. It’s so well kept and pretty. We sat by the fire pit on the river and relaxed after hiking Neahkahnie and Short Sands, and driving down to Rockaway Beach and Tillamook. We had two private decks, including one that’s covered so when it drizzled a little one afternoon, we could still sit outside and enjoy the evening air. Close to Manzanita and the beach. Can’t wait to bring our family this summer.

Cute and Charming Boutique Hotel…

We were so lucky to find this sweet little inn! Meticulously maintained with gorgeous outdoor areas, this hotel was much more comfortable than other vacation rentals and Airbnb places we’ve stayed in near Manzanita. Soft bed linens and bath towels, great views of the river.

Beautiful and Clean…

We booked a stay here to escape the brutal summer heat and enjoy the gorgeous Oregon coast. This location near Manzanita and Nehalem is serene and relaxing. The inn is beautiful and clean. It’s a short distance south of Cannon Beach and an even shorter distance to Short Sands beach. Our favorite part was how serene it is here. A great escape from busy city life and not in a saturated tourist area like Cannon Beach. Downtown Nehalem is tiny and quaint. We enjoyed going for fish and chips at Riverside Fish N’ Chips (a food truck and there was also another food truck with coffee and donuts) and then we wandered over to North Coast Pinball for some nostalgic pinball machine rivalry. We will definitely return!

Excellent Location Close to Nehalem Bay…

Cute hotel in an excellent location close to Manzanita and Nehalem Bay. Our room had an upstairs patio and a downstairs patio. Great windows with views of the mountains. Loved the luxury bathroom with heated floors and a shower with two shower heads. Great spot to spend a long weekend.

Adorable…

We found this adorable hotel on Airbnb and we’re so glad we did. It’s close to Manzanita and Nehalem but away from the crowds. So peaceful and well maintained. It was recently renovated and it really shows. Everything felt so new and fresh. One of the owners gave us a tour of the other rooms. We can’t wait to stay in the cabin overlooking the river next time!

Can’t say enough good things about this special little place we discovered on Airbnb. Our room was so clean and adorable. Wonderful bathroom and beautiful hardwood floors. We had dinner in Nehalem one night and lunch in Manzanita the next day. We’ll be back soon!

We Had a Lovely Stay

Oh to have another beautiful Sunday morning in Nehalem! We had a lovely stay. Our room was big and fresh. Grounds were beautiful. We’d stayed with Heather and Chris when they owned the little hotel in Arch Cape and were so happy to find them again — this time in Nehalem. Thank you!

Perfect Riverside Getaway…

Enjoyed staying at the Nehalem River Inn… the room was luxurious & well appointed. Loved the deck overlooking the river and enjoyed the porch for some quiet time. It was my first time to the amazing Oregon coast and the Inn provided the most relaxing time after a day of exploring the area.

Away From the Crowds…

The Nehalem River Inn is a slice of Oregon Coast paradise! Thoughtful touches, king-sized beds, and beautiful bathrooms make it stand out. After years of vacationing in Cannon Beach and Manzanita, we were ready for a quieter spot away from the crowds. Impeccably clean with private decks, it's a great spot to hang out with a book enjoying the summer Oregon sunshine after a morning of hiking around Nehalem Bay State Park or Neahkahnie mountain.

So Relaxing and Refreshing…

We stayed in Room 3 and it was absolutely beautiful. We had private French doors to go out onto our patio overlooking the grounds and with pretty views of the Nehalem river. Heather greeted us, gave us a tour and showed us our room. The whole property was beautiful and we loved the view and decor! Our entire stay was so relaxing and refreshing. Just sorry that we had to leave! Can't wait to go back.

Rooms are Large and Comfy…

If you plan on enjoying the many wonderful things the Oregon Coast has to offer, this cute hotel an ideal place to be! The rooms are large and comfy. There are rocking chairs on the patio so we could relax outside at the end of the day. In the evening, two deer wandered by as we sat just a few feet away! We had brunch one day at Wanda’s Cafe in Nehalem and dinner at Offshore Grill in Manzanita. Both were wonderful.

A Dream…

Room 4 is a dream. Two levels with the bed and bathroom upstairs and great views from both inside the room and from the private deck looking toward the river. Loved my morning coffee in bed! Found some great little restaurants and shops in nearby Wheeler and Nehalem. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect…

Our stay at the Nehalem River Inn was absolutely perfect. We stayed in Room 3. Every detail is so thoughtful, down to the little historic books on the table to the artwork on the walls. Our bathroom was just incredible. Loved the heated floors. The linens are heavenly. The owner Heather provided wonderful suggestions of restaurants and shops in the area. We would love to come back and spend more time on the Oregon Coast!

Such a Wonderful Place

Second stay at the inn. Such a wonderful place. Spacious rooms, incredibly well taken care of, close to everything without having to deal with the crowds in town. Looking forward to stay #3!
